My toes again

So I went to the doctor yesterday and I really shouldn't have. He pulled off the toenail on the toe that I smashed since I had a new nail growing underneath the old, or hurt, nail. So that nail looks really funny since it's only about a half a nail.

Then on my other big toe, I had been getting ingrown toenails for most of my life so I had him look at it since it hurt. Because of the way my nail grows he said he could fix it by cutting off part of the toenail and treating it with a chemical so it won't grow back. Sounded like a good idea to me, but now I'm not so sure. It is really raw and tender and I want my ingrown toenail back. Those I can fix by myself, this is going to be awhile until it's better. But I guess I can't undo it now.

Hopefully I can go to the gym tomorrow. I don't think I can do it today. We'll see how it feels tomorrow. :)

Midnight Sun

Okay, I just have to vent. I really wanted Stephenie Meyer to finish "Midnight Sun" and publish it. Seeing how "Twilight" was my favorite book of the Twilight series I was really excited to read the story from Edward's view. Now because of stupid people, she is putting it on hold indefinitely. Now, I am torn with what to do. I wasn't out there looking for the copies that people posted online. I was waiting (patiently?!?) for the book to come out. Now these stupid people have ruined it for me. So do I go read the version Stephenie put on her website? (of any, that would be the only one I would read) Or do I wait and hope that she decides to finish it soon?

I want to wait, I want to enjoy the book from beginning to end. I don't want to get halfway through the manuscript but get no where near the end of the original book. Do you think begging will help?

Pretty please with a cherry on top? Stephenie, please finish "Midnight Sun". Finish it for those of us who are eagerly awaiting it. For those of us who didn't read the manuscripts that were posted online. PLEASE?!?!?!?

My toe

I have a hurt toe. It's amazing how something like this can take over your life. I few years ago, I had surgery on this toe, so I am used to it bothering me and the lower range of motion from it. A few months ago I really smashed it and made the nail turn black and ugly looking. Now the nail has become ingrown. I've avoided the doctor this long and don't want to go in now, but I'm not sure I can avoid it anymore.

Last night I stayed up late finishing "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer. I kept telling myself, "One more chapter...One more chapter". But I couldn't put it down! I really liked the ending, it ended the way I wanted it to. :)

Update

My landlords decided that they didn't want to be landlords anymore and put the townhome up for sale. I was irritated because I didn't want to move but figured with the way the market is they wouldn't sell it. But they did and we had a month to find a new place to live. I wanted to stay in my ward but there just wasn't anything to move into. So one roommate and I found a 4-plex with one for rent and moved in a couple days before I left on vacation to Nauvoo. It's been a month now but I'm still not fully unpacked but it is starting to feel like home. And the best part? ONE roommate not THREE! :)

But I really miss my primary kids. And I'm not sold on the singles ward. The Bishop is great, but the people aren't that friendly. I know I am shy/quiet when put into a new situation so I'm not making much effort.

Happy Birthday to ME!

Yesterday was my birthday. We had a wonderful Father's Day / My Birthday dinner. Except for the crab my sister snuck into the wontons and didn't tell me about. YUCK!
