Jon Schmidt concert

Saturday night I went to an amazing concert at Thanksgiving Point with a great friend. Sam was in town for the day and I convinced her to go with me to the Jon Schmidt concert. It was a beautiful night and it was fun to sit outside on the grass and listen to great music. Jon is a fun entertainer and it was a great concert. I only wish the concert had been a little longer (and that we didn't have to listen to the opening band. They didn't play what I would call 'music'. Most would call it rock music, I'd just call it noise.)

Oh, how I wish I could absorb something like that every other day - well at least once a month. He is inspiring! Jon Schmidt makes me wish I developed a talent, or rather, that I had a talent to develop. And I would choose a 'show' talent such as music because it is so touching! Amy, you are fortunately a great paino player yourself and I admire your talent. You are wonderful to listen to (although opportunities are rare :)

THANK YOU ever so much for a most mnarvelous, inspiring and magical night. There was more than one occasion during the night that tears surfaced (although they did not escape). When the Cello player joined in as well as when I thought of the great friend I was with. Thank you, Amy, for being my loyal and enduring friend. It means the world to me.

A boy proposed to a girl at the end of the concert - that was sweet and Jon is funny and Steve makes them both more funny. Oh, what a night. I forget how much I love such a concert and when I am reminded I wonder how it ever leaves me.

With Heartfelt Gratitude,
Sam

I really really hope Cold Play returns his call! And what is the name of the song with Pacabel Canon in it - something along the lines of U2 meets Pacabel Cannon? I don't have any of the song titles written down and cannot name my favorite songs and I suddenly want to learn them. I want title the music of my new and current passion.

You have the cutest shoes of anyone I know. Suppose I am ready for a new pair of shoes, does your sister still sell shoes (I am referring to a shoe party she once had - is that a continuing thing?). Otherwise, I want to find a D??, the shoe store we went to together. You found DARLING shoes there. Now I need some. Too bad I didn't then :)

Which did you like more? Jon Schmidt or Brickman. Don't worry, there isn't a right or wrong answer to this question. :)
